Earth Day on 22 Apr 25 in MCD (21/Apr/2025): The Eco club groups in the schools will survey the school ground/nearby parks for creating a catalogue of different trees and a digital database, to generate awareness about different plants and their role in the ecosystem. The various activities to be conducted on the Earth Day are uploaded on the portal. Also, refer circular dated 21/4/25 for the same. FLN Assessment (15/Apr/2025): All the new admission students or the students who were not present during baseline assessment on 5 April 2025, will be assessed today in continuation of the baseline assessment, and their details will be uploaded on the Edulife portal.

LO Assessment (19/Nov/2024): The LO assessment model test paper-2 for class 3 which was scheduled to be held on 20/11/24 will now be conducted on 25/11/24 as no physical classes are being conducted due to pollution. Thank you

LO Special Inspection (06/Nov/2024): Kind Attention Please note that the LO Special Inspection is only for Officers and HoS. Mentors will fill the regular Mentor visit form where they have the option for observing more than one school daily. NB: This form is available on the Edulife portal in the inspection and report section as LO special inspection form.

FLN second assessment (24/Apr/2024): सभी विद्यालयों में कक्षा 1-5 तक के सभी विद्यार्थियों का FLN Baseline ASSESSMENT अप्रैल मास में प्रथम सप्ताह में हुआ था। FLN Second Assessment EduLife portal पर 24/04/2024 को शुरू हो जाएगा जिसे April Second Fortnight का नाम दिया गया है जिसे आप सब 25/04/2024 तक भर सकते हैं। 10/05/2024 को FLN Third Assessment अपलोड किया जाएगा, जिसे May First Fortnight का नाम दिया गया है।

Baseline Assessment (05/Apr/2024): All HoS's are directed to assess all students for the baseline assessment. The window of the baseline assessment report will be open on 08/Apr/2024.

JNV Entrance Result (31/Mar/2024): The result of the entrance examination for admission to Class 6 has been declared. Click here to check the result by entering Roll No. and Date of birth of the student.

Installation of Whiteboards (17/Mar/2024): It has come to the notice of the department that some HOS are not cooperating with the supplier for installing whiteboards. Therefore, all the Zonal Heads of the Education Department are requested to direct all the HoS to ensure cooperation with the supplier for the installation of whiteboards.

Excel Utilities for Result (10/Mar/2024): The result software for the session 2023-24 is available in 'Download' section of the EduLife portal. Schools will open on 9.3.24 (07/Mar/2024): It is hereby informed that all schools of MCD will remain open on the Second Saturday i.e. 09.03.2024 and to compensate for this working day schools will be closed on 23.03.2024 (Saturday).

Holiday on 07/03/2024 (06/Mar/2024): Holiday has been declared on 07/03/24 in all the MCD schools on account of Bal Diwas celebration conducted on 06/03/24.

World Book Fair 2024 (09/Feb/2024): World Book Fair is being organised from 10/02/24 to 18/02/24, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Free entry passes for MCD teachers and students will be available at Gate No.5 where volunteers from MCD are deputed to guide you. Do visit the Book Fair for an amazing literary experience.

Uploading new Practice Papers (08/Feb/2024): New Practice Papers are uploaded in 'Practice Papers'. Model Test papers that were already uploaded in 'Practice Papers' have been shifted to their actual place i.e. Model Test Papers.

Last Date for MS Jan-24 extended (06/Feb/2024): For the schools, the last date to submit the MS Jan-24 has been extended to 10 Feb 2024 05:00 pm including unfreeze and corrections, if there. All HOS are directed to submit MS Jan-24 timely otherwise a departmental action may be taken against the failure.

Schools Opening Time (05/Feb/2024): Vide office order no. No. D/Addl.Dir./Admin/Edu./HQ /MCD/2024/361 school timing was changed to 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. till 03.02.2024. Because of improving weather conditions, it is decided that school shall resume during usual working hours i.e. 8:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.

Last Date for MS Jan-24 (01/Feb/2024): At the school level, MS Jan-24 must be submitted latest by 05 Feb 2024 05:00 pm. At 5 pm, MS Jan-24 will be closed. In addition, MS Jan-24 must be verified by the zones latest by 09 Feb 2024 at 05:00 pm.

MS Opening (31/Jan/2024): MS Dec-23 must be submitted today latest by 05:00 pm. At 5pm Jan-24 MS will be opened.
